Ethan the Crawler

Ethan just decided today that he wanted to start crawling. He's been working on it for a while, taking a few good scoots here and there, but never more then a few steps forward. Today though, enticed by Steve's cell phone he really went quite far, moving his hands and legs (normally he just stretches out and then scoots his legs out, and then pulling his legs out and stretching out again). He has really gotten quite big. He weighs pounds more than the other boys his age. My poor arms... oh well.

For Those Who Have Fallen Behind

This is just a little update about what my small family has been doing for the past bit. Ethan was born in December, he is pretty much the center of our lives now. Steve is still attending chiropractic school. He is in his eight quarter out of twelve and we expect to be done sometime around September of 2008. He is really enjoying what he is learning and he is very good at it too. We don't know where we'll end up when he is done, it all just depends on what is available or if he decides just to open his own practice then it just depends on where we think the best market is and where we want to live. I haven't been doing much, just being a housewife and doing weight watchers. I just recently got back from a trip home which was far too long, and now we are reteaching Ethan about what it feels like to not be held all the time. :) anyway, there you have it, my life. Glad you're all caught up.

Claire Meets Blog

Well, Steve told me today that I needed to check out this gmail blogger. So I did, and it sounded like a good way to keep in touch with people. People are always complaining that I never do that. So now the ball is in People's court... metaphorically speaking. Anyway, the other exciting news of today is that I just finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, my all consuming project of the last two days. Good book. Steve keeps bugging me to tell him the plot so that he can know, and I just tell him to read it... which he wont. He'll wait for the movie. Alright, that's about it for now, I have to go and peddle my extra LDLs away on my indoor bicycle.
